The problem this solves

A Lead Gen Form on LinkedIn hands you a name, a work email and whatever fields the form asked for, in a batch that ages the moment it lands. The people who filled it in were interested on Tuesday. If the leads reach HubSpot the following week with no company context and no score, the SDR works them in the order they arrived, and the best account in the batch waits behind a student and a competitor.

The form data is thin on purpose because short forms convert. Company size, industry, region and technology stack decide whether a lead is worth a call, and none of them are on the form. Enrichment resolves each lead to a company and fills those fields; scoring turns them into a rank with a reason a rep can read; the upsert makes sure a person who converted twice is one contact with both campaigns recorded.

Preserving the source campaign is what makes the spend accountable. When the campaign name and the form name ride along on the contact, HubSpot reporting can show which campaigns produced high-fit leads and which produced volume, and the next budget decision has evidence behind it.

How the mission runs

  1. Pull the week's submissions. The Lead Verification Agent reads Lead Gen Form submissions from your connected LinkedIn Ads account for the past seven days, across every campaign and form unless you narrow it, and reports the count per campaign. Each lead carries its form fields, the submission time, the campaign and the form name.
  2. Resolve and enrich each lead's company. The work email domain, or the company name on the form when the email is a free-mail address, is resolved to a company through company search. Firmographics and technographics are filled with waterfall enrichment, so each field is answered by the first source that has it and only answered lookups are charged.
  3. Score every lead against the ICP. Each lead is scored 0-100 on the rubric derived from your ICP, with the reasons listed per lead and a top reason in plain words. The title and seniority from the form count alongside the company evidence, so a director at a matching company outranks an intern at the same company.
  4. Stage the upsert into HubSpot. Leads are matched to existing HubSpot contacts by email. Existing contacts receive the score, the reason and the new campaign as an added value rather than an overwrite; new contacts are created with the company association, the score, the reason, the source campaign and the form name. The batch is staged with counts of creates and updates and waits for your approval.
  5. Report the week. A summary lists leads by campaign with the average score and the count above your threshold, so the result of the week's spend is visible in one view. Leads that could not be resolved to a company are listed with the reason and still upserted with their form data if you want them in HubSpot.

The prompt

This is the exact objective the agent receives. Swap the obvious placeholders for your own domain, segment or channel and run it as-is from the console, Slack, or the API.

⟨ THE MISSION PROMPT · PASTE AND RUN ⟩

Pull this week's LinkedIn Lead Gen Form submissions, enrich each lead's company, score every lead against our ICP with the reason shown, and upsert the scored leads into HubSpot with the source campaign preserved.

What comes back

Every Lead Gen Form submission from the week in HubSpot as a contact, created once or updated in place, with the fit score, the top reason, the company association, the source campaign and the form name on the record. A summary by campaign with lead count, average score and the number of high-fit leads, so the campaigns that produce fit are separated from those that produce volume. The staged batch and the enrichment calls sit in the audit trail with their credits.

Make it yours

  • Post the leads above 80 to #sales as they are upserted, with the reason and a suggested first step, so the highest-fit leads are worked the same day.
  • Run it daily on a schedule instead of weekly, so the gap between form fill and first touch shrinks to hours.
  • Write a tier property that your existing HubSpot workflows already branch on, and keep the numeric score for reporting.

Frequently asked questions

What if a lead used a personal email address?

The agent falls back to the company name on the form, resolves it through company search and marks the row as resolved by name so you know the match is weaker. If neither resolves, the lead is still upserted with its form data and scored on what is known.

Will the source campaign overwrite an existing value?

No. Campaign and form names are added to the contact as additional values, so a person who converts on two campaigns keeps both and HubSpot reporting can attribute each.

Does this need my LinkedIn Ads connection?

Yes. Lead Gen Form submissions are read through the LinkedIn Ads account connected to your workspace, and the agent sees only the forms and campaigns that connection can see.

Is the scoring rubric the same one used for lists?

Yes, when you have saved one. The agent reuses your saved ICP rubric so scores on inbound leads and on prospect lists mean the same thing, and proposes one from the prompt if none exists.
