Turn a vague profile into criteria a machine can run.
Answer the questions on the left and the definition on the right updates as you type: a JSON object every data source can filter on, and a prompt an agent can run as written. Preview a page of matching companies before you decide it is the right profile.
The definition and the prompt are yours to copy. The preview shows the shape of the matches with names withheld; running the profile names them, finds the people and keeps the list refreshed.

Build a list of companies that match this ideal customer profile ("Ideal customer profile") and find the decision-makers at each. Record the source of every field, verify every email before delivery, and keep the list refreshed weekly.
The eight questions, and why each one is there
Industry and country set the universe. The employee range and founding year set the size and the age of company that buys from you; both are the criteria most teams get wrong by guessing. Technologies are the strongest fit signal most profiles ignore, because a company running a tool that pairs with yours has already made the decision you sell into. Hiring is timing: a company adding the roles your product serves is buying now. Funding stage sets the budget. The disqualifiers are the criterion that saves the most money, because every excluded company is a record you never pay for. Our guide to defining an ICP with live data goes deeper on each.
Questions, answered
What makes an ICP executable?
Every criterion maps to a field a data source can filter on: industry, headquarters country, employee range, founding year, technologies detected on the site, roles currently being hired, funding stage. “Companies that value quality” is a belief; “100 to 2,000 employees, running HubSpot, hiring SDRs” is a query.
What does the preview show?
A page of companies that match every criterion, with industry, size, country, founding year, stage and open roles visible and the names withheld. It comes from the same company discovery source the platform uses, in its free preview mode, so it costs nothing and proves the profile is real before you run it.
What happens when I run the profile?
The prompt opens a mission in your workspace: the prospecting agent discovers the companies, the enrichment agent fills firmographics, technologies and signals with a source on every field, the verification agent finds and checks the decision-makers, and the list is delivered into your CRM or sheet under an approval. It can then refresh weekly as a standing mission.
Can I keep the definition somewhere else?
Yes. Download it as JSON and keep it in your CRM documentation or your repo; the same object is what the API and the CLI accept when you run the profile programmatically.
How narrow should a first profile be?
Narrow enough that a person could say why each company is on the list. Three or four criteria plus one disqualifier is a good start; a profile with no disqualifier usually hides one.
Beyond the free version
Run the profile as a mission: named companies, verified people and a standing weekly refresh.
Every workspace ships every agent and the full data catalog, with a source on every field, verification before any send, and an approval on every write. The trial is three days with 200 credits.
