The problem this solves
A company that raised a Series A, B or C within the last year and is now hiring its first Revenue Operations lead is telling you three things at once: it has money, it has decided its sales process needs infrastructure, and the person who will choose that infrastructure has not been hired yet. The window between the posting and the hire is the best moment to introduce a product that becomes part of the new leader's plan.
Catching that window by hand means watching funding announcements and job boards separately and joining them in someone's head. By the time a rep notices, the role is filled and the stack is decided. The join needs to be automatic, the CRO or VP Sales needs to be findable the same day, and the result needs to land in the CRM the team already works from, tagged so the campaign can be measured.
How the mission runs
- Find the funded companies. The Prospecting Agent queries funding and news data for companies in <region> that announced a Series A, B or C in the last 12 months, capturing round, date, amount and lead investors for each. Companies with an older last round drop out even if they are otherwise attractive, because the budget timing is the point of this list.
- Match against fresh RevOps postings. Hiring data is checked for postings in the last 30 days with titles like Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, RevOps Manager or Head of Revenue Operations. The agent records the exact title and posting date, and notes whether the role appears to be the company's first in that function by checking for existing people with those titles.
- Find the sales leader and verify the email. For each company, people search identifies the CRO or the most senior VP of Sales, and the email finder and verification produce a deliverable address. Companies where the sales leader is also newly hired are marked, since two new leaders in one function is an even stronger signal.
- Load Pipedrive with organizations and people. Each company is created or updated as a Pipedrive organization with the round, the posting and the tag <tag>, and the sales leader is added as a person linked to it. The batch is shown for review with creates and updates counted before it is written.
The prompt
This is the exact objective the agent receives. Swap the obvious placeholders for your own domain, segment or channel and run it as-is from the console, Slack, or the API.
What comes back
Pipedrive organizations and people tagged <tag>: every Series A-C company in <region> that posted a RevOps or Sales Ops role in the last 30 days, with the round details and the posting on the organization and the CRO or VP Sales attached as a verified contact. The summary lists how many funded companies were found, how many are hiring the role, and how many produced a verified sales leader.
Make it yours
- Swap the role: first Head of Marketing Ops, first Sales Enablement lead or first Customer Success leader follow the same logic.
- Narrow the funding window to 180 days when you want the budget to be truly fresh.
- Deliver to HubSpot or Attio instead, or to a Google Sheet for a weekly review before the CRM push.
- Add the hiring manager named on the posting as a second contact when one is listed.
Frequently asked questions
How does the agent know the RevOps role is the first one?
It checks people data at the company for anyone already holding a RevOps or Sales Ops title. Where none exists, the row is marked as a first hire; where someone does, the posting is treated as expansion and the row is kept with that note.
Can this run every week?
Yes. Schedule it and only companies that newly meet both conditions are added to Pipedrive, so the tag grows without duplicates.
What if the sales leader cannot be verified?
The organization is still created with the signal, and the person is added with the verification status shown so a rep can decide whether to call instead of email.
