The problem this solves
The name comes up in a conversation, a referral, a conference hallway: 'you should talk to so-and-so at such-and-such'. The moment to follow up is that evening, and the follow-up needs an address. Looking one up means a laptop, two tools and a guess about the company's email pattern. By the time it is found the moment has passed, and a wrong guess bounces in front of a referral.
WhatsApp is on the phone and the phone is in the pocket. A message with a name and a company returns, within a minute, a contact card: a verified work email, a direct or mobile number where one can be found, the person's current title and a one-line note on what they do. The Lead Verification Agent finds the address, verifies it before replying, and marks catch-all or risky results honestly so the follow-up can be sent with confidence or held for a better route.
How the mission runs
- Receive the request. The Lead Verification Agent watches your WhatsApp agent number for messages containing a person's name and a company - in any order, with or without a domain - and confirms which company it resolved if the name was ambiguous.
- Find the person and their role. People search identifies the person at that company with their current title, seniority and function, and notes if the person appears to have moved to another company, which changes the answer.
- Find and verify the email. The email finder produces a work address from the company's pattern and any public trace, and verification checks it before anything is sent back; catch-all and risky results are labelled rather than presented as confirmed.
- Find a direct number. The phone finder looks for a direct or mobile number and records the type; where only a switchboard exists, the reply says so.
- Reply with the contact card. A WhatsApp message comes back with the name, title, company, verified email and its status, the number and its type, and a one-line note on the person's role, with an offer to save the contact to your CRM on reply.
The prompt
This is the exact objective the agent receives. Swap the obvious placeholders for your own domain, segment or channel and run it as-is from the console, Slack, or the API.
What comes back
A WhatsApp reply within a minute of sending a name and company: a contact card with the person's current title, a work email with its verification status, a direct or mobile number with its type where found, and a one-line role note, plus the option to save the contact to HubSpot or Pipedrive by replying. Ambiguous names are confirmed before the lookup so the card is for the right person.
Make it yours
- Run the same agent in Telegram or as a Slack DM.
- Ask for the person's two closest colleagues in the same function for a small buying committee on the spot.
- Have every lookup saved to a list named 'on the road' for later enrichment and sequencing.
- Add a one-line company read - size, industry, latest signal - under the contact card.
Frequently asked questions
What if the person has changed companies?
The reply says so, gives the new company where known, and asks whether you want the address at the new company or the successor at the old one.
Is a catch-all address safe to use?
It cannot be confirmed, so the card labels it and suggests the direct number or a colleague as an alternative route. Many people send to catch-alls anyway; the label lets you decide.
Who can message the WhatsApp agent?
The numbers you authorize in the workspace; each lookup is metered and logged with the requester.
