The problem this solves
A list built on fit says who could buy. Intent says who is thinking about it now. Most teams keep the two apart - a static list on one side, an intent dashboard on the other - and reps never see them in the same row. The account that is both a perfect fit and actively researching the category gets the same treatment as one that is neither.
Attaching intent to an existing list is the cheapest way to add timing. The topics say what the company is reading about, the score says how strongly, and the surge flag on your chosen topic says who moved this month. With the intent columns first in the sheet, the order of work changes without anyone rebuilding anything.
How the mission runs
- Load the list. The Enrichment Agent reads list <name> and the domains on it, which are the key for intent lookups.
- Attach topics and scores. Intent data returns the topics each company has been researching this month with a score per topic. The agent writes the top topics and their scores onto the row, along with the overall intent score.
- Mark the surges on <topic>. Companies whose score on <topic> rose sharply compared with the prior period are flagged as surging, with the size of the increase recorded so the strongest movers sort first.
- Export to Sheets intent-first. The list is exported to Google Sheets with the surge flag, the <topic> score and the top topics as the first columns, sorted by the surge flag and then score, and the columns are kept on list <name> for later missions.
The prompt
This is the exact objective the agent receives. Swap the obvious placeholders for your own domain, segment or channel and run it as-is from the console, Slack, or the API.
What comes back
List <name> carrying intent columns - top topics with scores, an overall intent score and a surge flag for <topic> - and a Google Sheet of the same rows ordered so surging companies sit at the top. The report shows how many companies on the list show any intent this month and how many are surging on your topic.
Make it yours
- Track three topics and add a column per topic to see which message fits each account.
- Refresh weekly and add a trend column that shows whether each company's score is rising or falling.
- Route the surging companies to a Lemlist campaign through the intent-referencing outreach playbook.
- Post the surging companies to #sales each time the mission runs.
Frequently asked questions
What does an intent score measure?
The volume and recency of research activity on a topic attributed to the company, relative to its usual baseline. A surge means activity well above that baseline.
Why do some companies show no intent?
Intent data covers observed research activity; companies with no observed activity this month show none, which is normal for a large share of any list.
Can I choose the topics from a list?
Yes. The agent can show the available topics near your category so you pick the ones that map to your product.
How is a surge defined?
A rise in the topic score well above the company's own baseline over the prior period. The size of the rise is stored so you can set your own threshold in the sheet.
Can I attach intent to a CRM segment instead of a list?
Yes. Name the HubSpot or Pipedrive segment and the same columns are written to the company records and exported.
Will old scores be kept?
Each run keeps the previous score in a history column, so trends over several months can be read from the list.
Does this cost credits per company?
Intent lookups are metered per company checked, so a large list can be limited to a segment or a fit-score threshold to control the spend.
